Question
The missing product from this reaction is Na rightarrow + e Na Mg Mg Ne Ne The missing product from this reaction is. Se + e rightarrow Se As Se Br none of the above This reaction is an example of. Kr rightarrow Rb + alpha decay beta decay positron decay electron capture gamma emission The reaction is an example of. P rightarrow Si + alpha decay beta decay positron decay electron capture gamma emission This reaction is an example of. P + rightarrow Si alpha decay beta decay positron decay electron capture gamma emissionExplanation / Answer
I already answer the previous part of these exercise, so I'm gonna explain it one more time with the first two questions, and then try to do the rest yourself. It's not that hard in balancing. Al of these are nuclear reactions, you just need to count the the numbers there, and balance from both sides. That's all. For example if you have 18/0 and in the other side 17/0 the other element would have to be 1/0, in that way it's balanced the 18. And so and on for the rest.
58. In this case 19/11 Na pass to a product and a electron with 0/1, so the correct option would be an element with a 19/10 so it's balanced both sides. In this case would be 19/10 Ne:
19/11 Na -------> 19/10 Ne + 0/1 e
59. In this case, in the product side we only have one product, and this product should have the sum of the reactants, and these are 75/34 + 0/-1 = 75/33. The correct option would be a product with that numbering. In this case 75/33 As Option B
The rest of your questions, are theory only. Check your text book or class to answer this. If you can'n find the answer for those, post them again so I can be looking forward to answer it.
Hope this helps.
