Explanation / Answer

27. Which of the following is an example of pluripotent cells?

A. Embryonic stem cells

Pluripotent means the ability of a cell to form a complete and mature cell. So in embryonic stem cells the cells that are responsible for development are basically pluripotent ,which helps in formation of a completely developed embryonic stem cells. And as these cells are pluripotent they can give rise to every single cell of the body. This is the main role of a pluripotent cell.
