Question
The bubble in the tip of the buret is not removed priot to performing the NaOH standardization. Wilthe reported concentration of the NaOH be greater than, less than, or equal to the true concentration of the NaOH if the bubble is flushed from the buret during the titration? Explain your answer. Explain why it is not necessary to refill the buret after every titration, provided that there is enough titrant in the buret to complete another complete titration. Explain why using deionized water to rinse the walls of the flask have no effect on the reported results of the titrations performed. If each of the standardization titrations are "overshot" (the endpoints are bright pink) and each of the unknown acid titrations arc good" (the endpoints are faint pink), will the reported concentration of tilt-unknown acid be greater than, less than, or equal to the true concentration? Explain your answer. IExplanation / Answer
1. If bubble s are their then the volume of NaOH will show greater than the actual so, contration will be less than actual.
2. This probable reduce the manual error. If some body forget to note the initial volume it will be a big truble so, refilling is the good habit.
3. Deionised water have nutral pH so will not nutralised NaOH in any extent so, result will not affected.
4. unknow concentration should not be less so that volume require will be less so, volume error will be high. unknow concentration is higher than triter concentration
