The statement given here is incorrect. The increase in hydrostatic forces acting of capillary can be one the reasons for filtration of fluid during other processes.In inflammation the filtration of fluid occurs because of the increase in the gap between epithelial cells of the capillaries. It is medicated via the cytokines and other inflammatory mediators released.
