If you have sufficient paint to coat one half of the steel pipe. Would you paint the upper half or the lower half? Is the driving force for galvanic corrosion higher internally or externally?

a.inner part of the steel pipe corroded more, because wet corrosion is faster than the dry corrosion

b. i would like to paint upper half. because by coating we are going to minimize the reaction rate of upper half ,so mean while the inner half also doesnot participate easily in the corrosion

c.internal half.
