Question
This is the experimental reaction. From this and the IR I need help determining my product.
This is the IR spectrum that I obtained from my product.
1) Determine the structure of the product from the IR spectrum.
2) Give some thoughts as to how the information from the IR spectrum can be used to solve this puzzle.

SodiumHypoChlorite is the specific chemoselective reagent to oxidise Primary and secondry alcohol
In your IR spectrum there is no stretching observed between 3100-3300 which corresponds to OH stretching. Normally OH stretching will observed very broad peak. this feature is not seen in your spectrum Hence its indicates that Both alcohols were oxidised. So the product is third one
