2 Answer : Acid rain is rainfall having elevated level of hydronium ions.
It is formed by sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide which react with water molecules in atmosphere to form respective acids H2SO4 and HNO3. Formation of carbonic acid and generating H+ ions when carbon dioxide reacts water molecules is also the reason.
Acid rain have shown adverse impacts on forests, freshwater, killing insects and aquatic life-forms. It causes damage to building and have bad impacts on human health.
