In regards to temperature change, explain wheter there would be a greater or lesser temperature change if
1. You kept the concentration of the hydrochloric acid the same but used a bigger piece of magnesium
2. You increased the concentration of the hydrochloric acid but did not change the size of the magnesium piece. What effect would you observe?
Explanation / Answer
1. temperature will be less. since less amount of magnesium will react very quickly. other will be remains.
2. temperature will increase . maxium amount of magnesium react very quickly with magnesium and enhance the temperature.
