help please

1. a. what are the colors copperin oxide, oopperm chlonde dihydrate and aluminum chinride hexahydrate? (Wse the Handbook of Chemistry and Physics) ts. Does salts? Deseribe the appearance of your sample your sample of copper show evidence of oside formation or the presence of either od these two your sample of opper show evid c. What efect would formation of copperit) oxide have on your calculated percent copper? Explain of copperil) oxide have on your calculated percent copper? Explain

Explanation / Answer

Solution :-

1)Color of the copper (ll) oxide is green.

Color of the copper (ll) chloride dihydrate is blue

Color of the aluminum chloride hexahydrate is white (colorless)

2) The sample is bright copper color so it does not show the evidence of the formation of the any salt.

3) The formation of the Copper (ll) oxide will increase the percent recovery of the copper because the added oxygen will give the higher mass to the recovered copper sample therefore the mass of the copper recovered would be higher than actual mass of the copper recovered. Therefore the percent copper recovery would be higher.
