The sources of energy, and how we use that energy, are two of the most important issues that affect everyone on the planet. Without a solution to how we use the energy we have access to, the 22nd century may look more like the 16th century. Find references describing how chemistry is being used to solve a part of the energy conundrum. This could be in any area of energy production, storage, use, efficiency, etc.

I am not asking you to do the research or anything, but I am trying to figure out what exactly I am supoossed to be researching.

Explanation / Answer

You are supposed to research on topics involving chemistry which is used to save energy. For example biogas plant in which chemical reaction takes place which is used as an alternative fuel. Chemical energy produced by transformation of solar energy into chemical energy.
