Cost of one barrel = $80

so cost of 14 millions barrel = $80 X 14 millions = $1120 millions

B) we know that 1m3 = 6.289 bbl

energy density of crude oil is 37000 MJ/m^3

so 37000 M / m^3 = 37000 M / 6.289 bbl = 5883. 289 M / bbl

C) From 1 Kg of Hydrogen 120 MJ is obtained

so For 5880 MJ we will need = 1 X 5880 / 120 Kg of hydrogen = 49 Kg of hydrogen

D) a barrel of oil provides approximately 5880 MJ of energy

So 14 million barrels of oil will give = 5880 X 14 million MJ of energy = 82320 Million MJ of energy / day.

E) 1Kg of hydrogen will give 120 MJ energy

so 82320 Million MJ of energy will be provided by = 82320 / 120 Million kg = 686 million Kg of hydrogen
