1) It is true because if there is an increase in volume or venous return to the heart or if the heart rate is extremely rapid, it results in low venous return and therefore decreased stroke volume.

2) It is true. In fact, if there is an increase in the solute concentration or osmolarity of the blood, the blood become more concentrated which causes the release of antidiuretic hormone from magnocellular neurosecretory neurons in the Paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus (PVN) and Supraoptic nucleus (SON). The release of ADH causes an increase in the reabsorption of water, and thus causes the urine to become more concentrated and thus make blood plasma less concentrated.
