D)
Oncogenic DNA viruses exist in nature.
E)

Explanation / Answer
1) Normal cells possess protooncogenes. These genes encode proteins that regulate cell cycle progression. Any alteration in the proto-oncogenes can lead to an oncogene which produces different proteins that interfere with normal cell cycle regulation.
2) Negative strand RNA possess its own RNA-dependant RNA polymerase which is called as Replicase to convert the negative RNA sequence to positive sense which is complementary to host mRNA.
3) Herpes virus is associated with post-translational modification post translation. This process is coded by gene UL13 in the viral genome.
4)Epidemiology- It is a study of incidence, prevelence, and distribution of a certain disease in a certain geographic region. The study also involves steps to control the diseases and study of possible factors associated with the disease.
