Explanation / Answer

[I am going to answer question number 2. Thanks]

a. The major evolutionary innovation associated with angiosperms that has allowed them to diversify and become the dominant form of plant life on Earth is their ability of reproduction using fruits and flowers, which then produces a protected seed.

b. The Devonian period known as the “Age of Fishes” because at that time only marine or water organisms thrived immensely. So, earth covered with water, fishes show spectacular adapation and diversification.

c. Scientists believe that multicellular eukaryotes did not diversify until the late Precambrian because there is no fossil record till date.
