8. What are two...................called
Isotopes
Isotopes of an element have same atomic number (i.e. the number of protons), but vary in the number of neutrons and hence have different mass numbers. For e.g. carbon has two isotopes C-12 and C-14. Both these have same number of protons (6, which is the atomic number of carbon) but have different number of neutrons ( 6 in case of C-12 and 8 in case of C-14), which results in different mass numbers.
9. In DNA, A pairs with T and C pairs with G. Hence
Template strand TTACAGGTCCCA
Complementary strand AATGTCCAGGGT
10. Which............................. cellular respiration?
All of these organisms are capable of cellular respiration
All of these organisms make use of cellular respiration. During this process the organisms break down the nutrients into simpler compounds along with production of energy in a controlled manner. This energy is stored in the form of ATP, whic in turn is used by the cell for carrying out it's metabolic activities.
