Question
Deep sea research is an area of intense scientific interest because we only now have some of the technology we need to reach these depths. The lack of light and active volcanism in the deep ocean creates an environment different than any other. Areas of scientific interest include deep sea hydrothermal vents, deep sea corals and other organisms, and the deep Arctic Ocean.
1.Research and examine an aspect of ongoing scientific study in the deep sea; an internet search with good terms will reveal a wealth of cool information.
2.Explain the scientific interest in your own words to your classmates and include important details and terminology from the textbook. Cite your source(s) properly with more than a website and try to add new knowledge to previous posts.
