Question

It's number 14. I know to use the formula P x V / T = P2 x V2 / T2

I see that it's supposedly 30 x 33.3 / 546 for the left side of the equation. But I don't understand where this 546 comes from. Please show your work and explain where you got each part if you want full points. Thank you.

A gas sample that contains 6 Times 1023 molecules exert are pressure of 20 N/cm2. If an additional 6 Times 1023 molecules are added to this gas sample, what will the pressure be? 10 N/cm2 20 N/cm2 30 N/cm2 Which of the following solutions will have the lowest PH? Which of the following is the conjugate base of HCl? H2Cl1+ Cl1- H2O H3O1+ A gas sample occupies a volume of 33.3 L at 273 degreeC and 30 atm. What volume would this gas sample occupy at STP? 0.5 L 2 L 498 L 48.5 L The weakest bond is ionic covalent hydrogen van der Waal's

Explanation / Answer

yes you are correct formula used will be

P1 x V1 / T1 = P2 x V2 / T2

but here temperture will be in kevins

also temp in kelvins = 273 + temp in deg celcius

now

30 x 33.3 / (273+273) = 1 x V2 / (0+273)

implies 30 x 33.3 / (546) = 1 x V2 / (273)

so V2 = 498 L
