10 ml water
5 drops 4.5% acetic acid C2H4O2
1/2 tsp. sodium bicarbonate NaHCO3
Reaction: bubbles
Tube 2:
2 ml unknown
1 ml water
1 tsp. epsom salt MgSO4
1 drop 4.5% acetic acid C2H4O2
2 ml 0.1 M barium chloride BaCl2
Reaction: white precipitate
Tube 3:
2 ml uknown
2 ml 0.1 M zinc acetate (Zn(C2H3O2)2
2 ml 0.1 M sodium phosphate tribasic Na3PO4
Reaction: milky, thick white precipitate
Question: Based on the reactions, is the unknown solution magnesium sulfate, calcium carbonate, phosphoric acid, nitric acid, or sodium hydroxide?

Calcium Carbonate....u can also test th following...for calcium..
calcium carbonate is insoluble in ammonium hydroxide gets dissolved in dil. acetic acid
