from the equation we know that one mole Of methane reacts with 2 moles of oxygen to produce 1 mole of CO2 and 2 moles of H2O.so 100 grams of methane contains 100/16 moles {no of moles =weight/molecular weight} which react with 2*100/16 moles of oxygen to give 100/16 moles of CO2 ie.,(100/16)*44=275 grams of CO2.similarly, 100 grams of methane react to give 87.5 grams of CO and 87.5grams of CO2%u2026.
