1) we know refractive index, n = c/v
here, c = speed of light in vaccum = 2*108 m/s
and v = speed of light in air = 2*108 m/s
hence, n = 3*108/2*108 = 1.5
n=1.5
now, we know, wavelength = c/f = 650*10-9 m ----------->> (given in question)
where, c = speed of light in air/vaccum
and f= frequency = ??
hence , frequency = 3*108 / 650*10-9 = 0.461*1015 = 461 Thz
now using same formula to find wavelength of red laser inside glass,
wavelength = v/f
here , v= velocity of light inside glass= 2*108 and f= frequency = 461 Thz
hence, wavelength = 2*108/461*1012 = 433.8*10-9 = 433.8 nm
wavelength of red laser in glass = 433.8 nm
