Given C6H12O6 -------> 2C2 H6O + 2CO2 1 mole of glucose produces 92 g of ethanol Let 124 g of ethanol produced from x grams of glucose So, x = ( 124 / 92 ) * 1mol          = 1.347mol 92 g of ethanol produced from 180 g of glucose x g of ethanol produced from 0.24 kg ( = 240 g ) ofglucose So, x = ( 240 / 180 ) * 92           =122.67 g
