Question
Alright so the topic of this homework center's solubilityrules.Na2SO4 + LiBr + Ca(C3H3O2)2 --> ???
-Balance
-Write Ionic Eq
-Write Net Ionic Eq
I mean they all look soluable, but if all of them dissolve in waterinto ions, that means you can have like 9 different solutions, Idunno if thats right. Plus I would have to balance that.
Na2SO4 is soluable cause its a sulfate.
LiBr is soluable cause it's a group 1 salt.
Ca(C3H3O2)2 ???
Explanation / Answer
Balanced chemical equation: Na2SO4 +2 LiBr +Ca(C2H3O2)2 ---------> 2 NaBr + CaSO4 + 2Li(C2H3O2) ionic equation: 2 Na+ + SO42- + 2 Li+ +2 Br- + Ca2+ +2(C2H3O2)- -------->2 Na+ +2 Br- +Ca2+ +SO42- +2 Li++2(C2H3O2)- As allare soluble we cann't have a netionic equation.
