Separation of organic liquids by distillation
Experiment is done with a sample volume of mixed liquid. The system is heated. When the temperaure reaches to the boiling point of first component in the mixture, it starts to vaporize and condense. The total volume collected at this temperature is calculated. Now raise the temperature further to reach to boiling point of second liquid. The liquid starts to vaporize and then condense. Again calculate total volume collected.

This should show almost two plateau for the two liquid boiling points.
