Part A: Qualitative Observation of Le Châtelier's Principle The equilibrium to be examined in this section is: Fe +SCN Fe(SCN ferric ion thiocyanate ion monothiocyanate iron(III) ion Prepare a solution of Fe(SCNby mixing 5 mL of 0.01 M FeC, solution, 5 mL of 0.01 M KSCN solution, and 10 mL of distilled H,O in an Erlenmeyer flask. Put 20 drops of this solution in each of four small test tubes. The liquid will be about 2 cm deep in each test tube. 1. 2. a.
