any help on this would be awsome :) will rate as lifesaver. thanks! Write the formulas for the reactants, then complete andbalance the equation. Potassium chlorate ----> Potassiumchloride + Oxygen KClO3---->KCl +O2 Balanced = 2KClO3----> 2KCl + 3O2 Calcium carbonate ----> Calcium hydroxide----> Hydrogen fluoride----> Potassium chloride----> Magnesium chloride----> Ammonium iodide----> any help on this would be awsome :) will rate as lifesaver. thanks! Write the formulas for the reactants, then complete andbalance the equation. Potassium chlorate ----> Potassiumchloride + Oxygen KClO3---->KCl +O2 Balanced = 2KClO3----> 2KCl + 3O2 Calcium carbonate ----> Calcium hydroxide----> Hydrogen fluoride----> Potassium chloride----> Magnesium chloride----> Ammonium iodide----> Calcium carbonate ----> Calcium hydroxide----> Hydrogen fluoride----> Potassium chloride----> Magnesium chloride----> Ammonium iodide---->Explanation / Answer
Just to preface this I'm sure of all the starting materialsbut i'm honestly not 100% sure of the products CaCO3 -------> CaO +CO2Calcium Hydroxide: Ca(OH)2--------> CaO + H2O
Hydrogen Fluoride: 2HF --------> H2 +F2 *remember that H,F, I, Cl, etc. are all diatomicelements
Potassium Chloride: 2KCl -----> 2K + Cl2
Magnesium Chloride: MgCl2---------> Mg + Cl2
Ammonium Iodide: 2NH4I ---------> 2NH3 +H2 + I2
Again, these are all my best guesses, so good luck!
