They use Microsoft Word and Microsoft Visio daily. Summarize the human-computer interface (HCI) of these two software applications. Be sure to note any commonalities between the applications and note any metaphors that are utilized. Suggest one enhancement to one of the two applications that would improve HCI, supported by at least one example for the suggestion."

Microsoft Word and Microsoft Visio both are part of basically Microsoft office only but Both applications have different functionalities.Basically,Microsoft Visio is a diagramming and vector graphics application and we have two editions available for Microsoft Vision: Standard and Professional.The Standard and Professional editions share the same interface, but the basic difference between both the esitions is that the Premium edition has additional templates for more advanced diagrams and layouts, as well as capabilities intended to make it easy for users to connect their diagrams to data sources and to display their data graphically.The file formats supported by Microsoft Vision and Microsoft Word are really different.As Microsoft word supports .doc or .docx generally whereas Microsoft Visio supports VSD or VDX file formats.And,Microsoft Word is basically a word processor.We prefer to design documents in Microsoft Word and we can set to passoword for any word file ,it can be while opening the file or while modifying the doc file etc.
