Java II - CIS
- Imagine that you are creating an interface for a social networking application (app) that allows a user to send a short text message to a selected group of friends. Determine the main Swing components that you would use in order to make this happen. Justify your response.
- Using the scenario from Part I of this discussion, suggest one (1) method that you could use in order to make the message reception more private. Determine the key Swing components that you would use in order to make this happen. Provide a rationale to support your response.
Explanation / Answer
first to send short text message....the required components are:
1) JtextField for typing message
2) JtextField for to type recipienrs name
3)JRadioButton to select public/private
5) Jbutton to send message to recipients
6)to select fiends use JcheckBox
For more private we use Radio button..whether to post private or public..so that no one able to know the information regarding this message. If we keep more options ..to make private ..user will not like that UI because for sending messages clicking so many options is not an good choice. so keeping radio button..( initially it must be private button checked).
