Staphylococcus in general is susceptible to penicillin, methycillin etc. The MRSA is methycillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus strain.

Since, E. coli is gram negative tetracyclines, ampicillin etc are effective.

For S. aureus antibiotics 2 and 4 are effective. For MRSA antibiotics 3 and 4 are effective. For E. coli, antibiotics 1 and 3 are effective. When compared between all 3 bacteria, the antibiotics 2 and 4 for S. aureus have given large zone of diameter.

It is much important to know that which type of antibiotic effective against a specific type of bacteria. This is because, antibiotic treatment of infections depend only based on this information.
