io. Reie to tie omass psts on thc course rthe following question. All maps represent conditions at the exact same time. What was the weather like at your assigned city at the time the maps were produced in terms of cloud cover (overcast, partly cloudy, or clear), precipitation (both intensity and type), wind speed (light, moderate, strong, or calm) and geographic wind direction. Explain how you came to your conclusions for the wind speed and wind direction Cloud Cover: Precipitation: Wind Speed: Explanation: Wind Direction: Explanation:

Explanation / Answer

Here assigned city name is not given so I am interpreting the weather of Pennsylvenian area.

Cloud cover - overcast (as seen in infrared image) with cold top. t's pretty safe to assume that they likely belong to the family of cumulonimbus (whose tops can reach altitudes as high as 60,000 feet).

Precipitation - Low intesity, Dry snow at the middle part and wet snow nearer to the coastal side.

Wind speed - The symbol in surface weather map indicate a front between warm and cold air masses that is moving very slowly.

Wind direction- wind is moving from NE to SW because there is a high pressure zone in NE and low pressure zone in SW. Wind is moving from high to low pressure zone.
