Write up a brief outline of your tour, where you will begin, what you will visit on the tour, and some important highlights you will be pointing out on your journey.Explanation / Answer
The digestive system begins at alimentary cannel and ends at anus. The parts of the alimentary cannel are bucal cavity which is near the mouth there the food is digested using the mechanical action of teeth and it is mixed with saliva which is secreted from salivary gland which helps to soften the food and digest starch, the swallowed food then it enters to Oesophagous near the chest, the peristaltic movement of the oesophagous helps the food to move down the tract and it leads to stomach which is a bag like structure with a thick wall, and also it is the widest part in the alimentary cannel, where acids are secreted which aids in digestion of complex food materials, after which we have small intestine, which is a highly coiled structure about 7.5 meters long, the digestive juices from panaceas and liver are mixed into it which helps in further digestion and absorption of digested nutrients with the help of its small finger like projections called villai structures and are transported to various parts of the body and enters large intestine where water and salts are absorbed finally to rectum where it remains as semi solid feces and anus is an orifice which removes the fecal matter through the process called ejection.
