2Al + 3Cl2------>2AlCl3 10 15 10 : Number of Moles if Cl2 is excess, Aluminium will be the limiting substrate. So number of moles of aluminium chloride formed is in proportion with moles of aluminium. So 10 moles of aluminium gives 10 moles of AlCl3 eventhough Cl2 is in excess .
