Ionization energy is the enrgy required to remove the electron from the outermost shell of an element.
Since the general electron configuration of noble elements is ns2 sp6 , they have completely filled octets , and hence stable , so removing electron from their shells requires a lot of energy.
Now going from top to bottom in a group ,the atomic size of the element increases and the last electron of the element becomes farther from the nucleus , due to which the ionization energy decreases.
Since Xe lies below Kr in the modern periodic table , its value of ionization energy will also be less than that of Kr , it will be approximately 1100 KJ/mol
