4) Sum of the individual mass of pennies = 3.081+3.094+3.084+3.039 = 12.298 g
Whereas, Total mass of pennies = 12.312 g
Thus total mass of pennies massed together is not equal to the sum of the individual pennies. The difference is of 12.312 - 12.298 = 0.014 g.
This difference is due to the lack of accuracy in the balance.
