One problem created from the modified cornis that the insecticide used in the corn corn creates a toxic pollen that covers milkweed, afood the butterflies feed on. Another concern/problem is thatstrictly controlling the geneticcomponents and production of the corn can reduce crop diversity.This can lead to a number of problems, including disease outbreak.For example if a virus were to surface thats effects only onegenotype, because most of the corn is genetically similar asignificant amount of the corn crop would die.
