Explanation / Answer

In the row, when you calculated concentration of vitamin C in the fruit juice, its better to keep it in decimals (same significant digits)

For trial 1: 0.92 mg/10 ml = 0.092 mg/ml

For trial 2: 0.088 mg/ml

For trial 3: I am getting different answer.

Moles of vitamin C = 1.63*10-5 mol

mass of vitamin C = (1.63*10-5)*176.13 = 0.00287 g = 2.87 mg

volume = 30 ml

concentration = 2.87/30 = 0.096

So, average of all trials comes out to be: (0.092+0.088+0.096)/3 = 0.092 mg/ml

Additional question:

average = 0.092 mg/ml

So, 1 ml of juice contains 0.092 mg

75 mg of vitamin C will be present in = 1*75/0.092 = 815.22 ml = 0.815 L

1 L = 33.8 fluid ounce

0.815 L = 33.8*0.815 = 27.55 fluid ounce

Answer is 27.55 fluid ounce
