Q- Which way does energy flow and how does eating an organism result in energy transfer?

A - Energy flows in a unidirectional- forward way, from one trophic level to another. Eating another organism means getting food and food is a source of energy. Not all energy of the organism being eaten is transferred to next level. Just 10% of it is transferred.
