determine the results. Add the solutions of neutral elements (say A) if it does not oxidize the
unknown then you can draw the conclusion that the corresponding neutral solution salt is the
unknown ( i.e) NaA). But if it does oxidize then it shows that other two salts might be the
unknown ( i.e) NaB or NaC ). In this manner you can conclude the results by repeating
the same procedure by adding different solutions of neutral elements.
