Hello, this is advanced ochem. Could anyone please explain in detail about draw this compound into a chair conformer? If you can, could you give me some examples of assigning whether it is axial or equatorial? I have the answer key from the professor, but I have to know how she assigned the direction of the substituents so that I know how to do it on the final. I know how to do chair conformer for a cyclohexane compound but not these kinds. Thanks in advance :) .

Chair conformers are used for only cyclic molecules, its not possible for this type of molecules.
