Whether or not a metal can replace an another metal from its salt solution , depends solely on its reactivity.
More reactive metals will displace less reactive ones from their salt solution .
In the observation table , you mat notice that copper is unable to replace any metal from the salt, so it is least reactive of all.
The only metal , that could react with all the salts , and replaced their cations is magnesium , so here magnesium is the most reactive metal amongst all.
The rest all other metals that can either replace 2, 3 or 4 are ranked accordingly.
