Question

What if you lived in a 20 bedroom house with 20 roommates. Everybody paid the same rent, but ONE person took 25% of the food, furniture, energy, and space. The other 19 roommates have to scramble for the remaining 75% of stuff. As Americans (4% of the world population), our eco-footprints are generally much larger than 1 planet. This means that on global scale, we take more energy, food, resources, and space per individual. It is IMPOSSIBLE for people in other parts of the world to live like we do because the planet will run out of resources. Do you think it is fair for people in the USA to live our current lifestyle if it means other people will get less? Support your statement with your reasoning
