CaCO3(s) = CaO(s) + CO2(g)
(moles)product < (moles)reactant
According to Lechatelier's principle, a decrease in pressure (and hence increase in volume) shifts the equilibrium to the side where there is more number of moles.
Since, in the above equilibrium, (moles)product < (moles)reactant , an increase in volume will shift the equilibrium to the righht side and hence more number of moles of CO2 will result.
