a) Dr. McCarthy apparently is unaware of the evolutionary concept about Homoplasy and the convergent evolution.

(b) None of the evidence on our fossil ancestors shows half-pig like features and t directly disproves his crazy idea.

(c) Establishing the molecular phylogeny would disprove his crazy idea. molecular phylogeny would allow placing the pigs and humans clearly on two different clusters.
