Question

Growing wheat and converting it into bread requires energy. In the process, the wheat absorbs the sunlight and through photosynthesis converts carbon dioxide and water into carbohydrates. The plants are harvested and the wheat is ground into flour. The flour is transported to a bakery where it is baked into bread. The bread is sold and then consumed by the customer. After eating a piece of bread, the customer goes for a walk. What are the different forms of energy, and how is the energy converted from one form to another in these processes?

Explanation / Answer

In above question, there are various form of energy converting from one phase to another. Lets start from first activity when photosynthesis takes place the light energy is converted into chemical energy. Now the process of grinding flour is converting the electrical enrgy into machinal energy

While baking the flour to bread converts machanical and electrical energy to chemical enrgy and when he eats the bread the chemical energy breaks in his body and produces diffreent mineral and enzymes.
