1. Hypothesis is predictions of reasons behind a theory. These predictions are to be tested to make them accepted. Hyothesis may become accepted or reected based on the experimental results. If the hypothesis is acceptedn then it becomes theory.

The relationship between facts and theory is, facts are the experimental results based on which a theory is generally approved.

The NOVA episode with respect to evolution and intelligent design was met with the scientists as the three proponents provided all the facts (experimental results) in the natural design, and the proposed hypothesis was accepted.
