While women have entered the work force in greater numbers, there remains a gender pay gap in which women typically earn smaller salaries than men who have the same levels of education and experience, and who perform the same types of jobs. In addition, according the American Association of University Women (AAUW), there is a race/ethnicity pay gap within the gender pay gap, with Asian-American women typically earning 90% of the salary typically earned by white men, and Hispanic women typically earning 54% of the salary typically earned by white men. White and African American women are in the middle, averaging roughly 79% and 65% of white men’s salaries respectively. Please discuss (1) why, IN YOUR OWN OPINION, Hispanic women earn LESS than Asian, Black, and white women and (2) why, IN YOUR OWN OPINION, Asian-American women earn MORE than Hispanic, Black, and white women. 1) Hispanic women earn less than Asian, Black and white women, just Hispanic women are spanish speaking latin Americans . Hispanic women are most not fluent . English is a common language in world . Most of the global organisations communicate in English. Thus is it is important to be fluent in English in corporate world .
2) Asian-American women earn more than Hispanic, Black and white women because Asian- American women always look for the growth opprotunities. Their mind set is to develop the skills , knowledge and experience in the corporate world. The learn the accent and also become fluent in English. They develope the skills that are required to grow . They grow so do they earn more.
3) Gender Pay gap persists because Men has strenght and capablity to work more than women . Men can strech in work more than women is the belief of the most of the companies .
