Explanation / Answer
Twitter is an effective tool to engage customers and address the concerns arising over service quality or product satisfaction. But, it is also a publicly available forum on which anyone can write his opinion in any form or tone. It is detrimental for company’s brand as well as image even if one bad review gets posted on twitter as it reaches millions of users and no one ever questions the truth or credibility of the posts.
Thus, it is not to be used as a formal platform to hear out concerns but only to be used as a tool that can be used to reach many consumers at once for light matters like launch of new products, new feature launch or marketing purposes.
