cons are: it does not consider all the charecteristics

control charts: pros are: accurate upper and lower limits can be calculated, it consider only sample size, it identifies the gap between acceptable levels and reject levels of sample.

cons: some times only the sample units may be defective ones,but the remaining will be acceptable level

Histogram: pros are: we can come to know the performance for a series of time, not at one point of time

cons: it always consider past performance and compares with present

Pareto chart: it plots the relation between past and present and show the trend of improvement

cons: small problem in one time may carry throughout the period
