An effective leader emphasize on a relationship oriented style. Building strong, mutual and lasting relationships and at the same time successful achieving the results is the trait of the effective leader.
An ineffective leader emphasize on the task oriented style. Ineffective leaders take "my way" or "highway" approach towards the employees in achieving the results. This raises resentment among the employees and this is generally lived. As in the leaders might achieve the short term goals but they can never reach the success through the long term goals.
