For A high-tech corporation, where vastly skilled, highly experienced workforces, under regular situations, money factors would play only partial part in essentially motivating workers. Money plays a significant part in motivating job performances but as afore said, has its boundaries as a motivator. A fair remuneration is considered a “hygiene” factor and in the minimum requirement to create and give a platform for motivating employees. Without it, employees will be demotivated and unable to do their jobs
Stock options:
Work performance linked to stock options, distributed to the employees, are likely will translate into better employee performance which in turn, will transform into steady company and stock performance, therefore swelling stock values.
