1. According to the statements of McMurrian and Matulich and Jakobs, the corporate ethics plays a major role in the achievement of competitive advantage for the business and in earning long term profit and reputation for the organization. Being ethical the organization can gain the trust of the customers as well as its stake holders which can bring the organization a long term loyalty from its stake holders.

An organization Z which is one among the largest retail shop considers ethics as an important factor while performing its business activities. It focuses on providing good and quality products and services to its customers which enabled them to gain the customer trust and long term loyalty which lead to the achievement of the long term profit.

The electronics equipment manufacturing company H destroyed its newly produced washing machines as it identified that it has a crucial defect. This highlights its ethical constraints of providing quality products to the customers. This grabbed the attention of the public and earned a good reputation for the customers.

The health care organization GH has linked its health service to ethics which enabled them to provide better service to the patients. They could provide high quality and timely attention to the patients which improved their level of quality service.

Form the above discussions it is evident that the ethics in corporate organizations is directly related to the achievement of good reputation and profit as well.
